Commercial Mounting Options

Angle Bracket

Also known as standoff or offset brackets, Angle Brackets are a versatile Air Curtain mounting option. Air Curtains can be mounted directly to the brackets or combined with other hardware (threaded rod, strut, angle iron, tubing, etc.) to navigate complex mounting applications.

Flush Mount

Provides the cleanest mounting application. Depending on the walls structural support locations, flush mounts can be achieved by directly lagging the air curtain backside to the wall or with the addition of a wall mounting plate.

Side Extension

Side extension brackets extend the wall side mounting holes past the ends of the air curtain.

Threaded Rod

Threaded rod is one of the most common mounting options and can be used with angle brackets, uni-strut or directly from the ceiling

Threaded rod with Strut

This combination extends the end mounting points outside the door tracks.

Angle Brackets and threaded Rod

If necessary to mount in front of an obstacle (like a cannister), angle brackets and threaded rod are ideal. Additional side baffles are recommended to reduce infiltration near the upper ends of the opening.

Threaded Rod and Cannister

Threaded rod hanging from the ceiling is an affordable option. It’s important to consider the space from the ceiling to air curtain as additional support may be needed.

Industrial Mounting Options

Threaded Rod

Threaded Rod is a common and flexible solution for industrial air curtains. It can be used as the sole support or combined with strut or brackets.

Angle Brackets, Threaded Rod and Strut

Many applications require a combination of material to mount on/around obstacles like door track and supports while mounting as closely to the opening as possible.

Angle Brackets in front of Cannister

In many industrial applications, a cannister door requires offset mounting. Angle brackets help span the cannister while placing the air curtain as close to the opening as possible. Side baffles are recommended.

Angle brackets with Uni-Strut

The combination of angle brackets and uni-strut ensures a proper fit with center-support for wider doors.

Under Cannister with Uni-Strut and Angle Bracket

When overhead space is impacted, Angle brackets can be used “upside down” in conjunction with uni-strut to ensure a flush mount.

Vertical Air Curtain

If above door mount is not possible, Air Curtains can be mounted vertically. To create the most effective barrier, it’s recommended that air curtains be mounted on both sides of the door.

Vertical Lift Section Door

Vertical lift doors can create challenges that require a variety of mounting options to properly manage obstacles. In most cases, angle brackets and uni-strut are effective solutions.
