Air Curtains For
Commercial Use

Nothing says “We are Open” better than an open door. Unfortunately, weather, insects, fumes and geography make that challenging. During the dead of winter or peak of summer, the outside air can wreak havoc on the conditioned air inside. Air Curtains are an ideal solution for this and can be used on commercial and retails doors of all sizes to let the customers in but keep the outside air out-all while creating a more comfortable environment for shoppers and employees alike.

Air Curtains can also be used as a replacement to vestibules in many applications. The key benefit of a Powered Aire air curtain is that it enables a commercial store front to remain open during business hours-while helping to keep employees and customers comfortable, regardless of outside temperatures. Powered Aire air curtains also help meet the architectural and aesthetics needs of a storefront and can be used in grocery stores, outlet malls, retails stores and other businesses wanting to keep doors open during regular hours

Maintain Temperatures & Maximize Retail Space

Customer Entry Doors

In retail applications, every inch of floor space counts. Air curtains ensure easy in/out access while helping maintain comfortable temperatures inside. Air curtains enable the doors to be “turned off”, which helps maximize accessibility and floor space. Furthermore, Powered Aire air curtains help maintain a comfortable temperature for shoppers and employees alike.

Following the ASHRAE/ES Standard 90.1-2019 and the IECC, air curtains can now be used an exception to vestibules. With retail space being at a premium, this frees considerable, and costly, space that would have once been taken up by a vestibule. For new construction, or retrofit design, shop and retail owners are able to forgo vestibules, which can be replaced by air curtains.

Air Curtains for Drive Thru, Pass Thru & Contactless Delivery Service

Food Service & Insect Control

Few areas in a restaurant are more prone to insect infiltration than back doors where deliveries are made, trash is disposed, or exhaust fumes are expelled. While insects may love this area, the “fly in my soup” can directly impact revenue and lead to negative online reviews. Air Curtains positioned on the back door of a restaurant help maintain higher levels of sanitation while ensuring easy in-and-out access.
