CHA

CHA Air Curtains

Powered Aire’s CHA is a high-performance air curtain that fits discreetly in the ceiling space above a door to offer environmental separation and energy savings, while adhering to a building’s architectural footprint. The CHA utilizes minimal space for installation and operation. It includes easily accessible controls that mount directly to the motor plate, eliminating the need for an external control box. To maximize usability, the internal components of the CHA can be accessed through the bottom of the unit. Along with its efficient design, the CHA provides the traditional benefits of an air curtain tucked away into an aesthetically pleasing ceiling-mounted unit. The CHA has been tested in accordance with ANSI/AMCA 220 and meets the criteria for use as an exception to the vestibule requirement in Climate Zones 3 and above. The CHA is ideal when overhead space above the door would prevent the use of an exposed air curtain, or the architectural design of the building favors an air curtain hidden from view.
